Accused of fraud, embezzlement, and market manipulation via a whistleblower’s testimony, the firm’s downfall exposed BaFin’s failure to act and its legal battles against critical journalists. Ex‐COO Jan Marsalek vanished the day he was suspended and remains internationally wanted. This docudrama traces the scope of a multibillion‐euro scandal.
