Pressure from Tok Wan who wants Adam to marry Liyana does not please Adam. However, in the end, Adam chooses to accept Aireen's proposal. Adam's agreement to marry Aireen delights all family members except Tok Wan, who feels Adam is being disrespectful. Tok Wan is angry that Adam has rejected her choice. Her anger escalates when Adam and Aireen remain together despite her efforts to prevent it.
